Frequently Asked Questions
What are your Terms of Purchase?
All billing information provided must be truthful and accurate. Providing any untruthful or inaccurate information constitutes a breach of this Agreement and may result in order cancellation. All orders must be placed by an individual age 18 or older.
Orders seeking delivery outside of the United States may be denied at the sole discretion of the Cellular Agriculture Society (“CAS”). For orders seeking delivery outside of the United States which are accepted by CAS, CAS reserves the right to assess additional fees for shipping, processing, and/or any increased costs associated with delivery of the order to the requested destination.
Prior to completing an order, CAS may request additional information from you. If you fail to respond to such a request within 14 days, CAS reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the purchase price. CAS further reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including but not limited to limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information, and/or problems identified by CAS with respect to potential fraud. If your order is canceled after your payment account has been charged, CAS will issue a credit to your payment account in the amount of the charge. CAS will contact you if all or any portion of your order is canceled or if additional information is required to accept your order.
CAS reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased per person, per household, or per order for any reason. These restrictions may apply to orders placed by the same account, the same payment account, and also to orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. CAS will notify you should such limits be applied. CAS also reserves the right, at CAS’ sole discretion, to prohibit sales to dealers or resellers.
CAS makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information about prices on this website. Nevertheless, pricing errors may appear on this website from time to time. Accordingly, CAS does not guarantee the prices set forth on this website and reserves the right to cancel any order for an item that was based on a pricing error. If your order is cancelled due to a pricing error, CAS will notify you of the cancellation. Prices on this website are subject to change without notice.
CAS makes no representations about any tax consequences or potential tax deductibility of your purchase. The CAStore defines “proceeds” as “profits”, so any payment that does not go directly towards creating purchased artwork will be allocated to CAS. And while CAS retains all remaining funds from purchases made after paying all expenses associated with such purchases, purchases are not considered donations to CAS.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, all purchase orders are considered final and non-refundable once placed.
By confirming your purchase at the end of the checkout process, you agree to these Terms of Purchase, and confirm that you accept and pay for the item(s) purchased. You will be charged for your order at the time the order is placed.
What does it mean that “all proceeds go to CAS”?
In this context, we’re defining “proceeds” as “profits”, so any payment that doesn’t directly go towards creating your custom artwork will then go to our 501c3 nonprofit.
How do you establish the prices for CAS Artwork?
The financial model for CAS Artwork is based on the exclusive and innovative nature of the designs. CAS Artwork represents thousands of hours from world-class designers envisioning how CellAg will shift human civilization this century; they culminate into a creative process spanning multiple years, representing designs which have received international recognition, gone viral on the internet, and seen as a pillar of hope for millions who dream for CellAg to revolutionize our future.
Furthermore, the costs associated with developing and fulfilling orders (not including shipping) can become expensive. To bring materials to the level of quality found within CAS Artwork, we work with premium suppliers who ensure our customers receive products at CAStandard.
We may occasionally offer discounts on our artwork so make sure to subscribe to our newsletter and social media to be notified when the time comes!
What is the environmental impact of CAS Artwork?
The aluminum used on our prints is 100% recycled and 100% recyclable. Rather than printing, the dye sublimation process we use involves infusing the image into the metal itself rather than printing it on the surface. We use dye inks (vegetable-based inks) that don’t contain VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) which are sublimated into the aluminum through a special pressure and heat process. We also use a floating back frame designed from aluminum rather than traditional foam or wood.
How long will my CAS Artwork last?
While we can’t make any guarantees, if left indoors your item should last a lifetime.
What is the estimated time for delivery?
We want to ensure you receive a product you cherish for a lifetime. For this reason, we ensure your CAS Artwork is created and delivered to the highest level of quality, what we refer to as CAStandard. Expected delivery time, including correspondence with you, the manufacturing process, developing the custom framing, shipping container, and final shipping itself is estimated at 20 business days, depending on the shipping destination.
Once we receive notice of your payment and have confirmed your shipping details through confidential communication with you, we work with our supplier on fulfillment. This process is estimated at around 10 business days, but can be faster depending on response time. Thereafter, the shipping process is very circumstantial, especially with our largest model (X-Large) since UPS & FedEx don’t deliver shipments of that size. We allot another 10 business days for the shipment considering international shipping is available and purchase windows might coincide with holidays affecting logistical timelines. Overall, we conservatively estimate you will have your item within less than a month from purchase, however, if you’d like to rush your delivery for any reason, please email us at info@cellag.org and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Where should I hang my CAS Artwork?
The materials we use make CAS Artwork suitable for diverse settings. The dye sublimation process infuses our designs permanently inside the metal, making our artwork extremely durable. This process grants characteristics of UV, scratch, and water resistance, which makes CAS Artwork suitable for environments like kitchens, bathrooms, and patios.
I don’t see an option to purchase more than one item?
We are able to offer special prices for those interested in more than one CAS Artwork. If you’re interested in a multi-item purchase, please email us at info@cellag.org.
How can I go about framing or printing your designs myself?
We offer special licensing offers on our designs, so please email us at info@cellag.org detailing your interest.
Why don’t you offer refunds? How can I be assured that my shipment will arrive safely?
Unfortunately, the procedure of fulfilling and shipping orders is an arduous one for our team and partners. Our nonprofit does not currently have the capacity/human resources to process refunds but are highly confident you will receive a package that is safely delivered and to your liking. Utilizing custom crates and shipping containers, we ensure packages arrive safely and timely. Please do not assume that our policy on refunds prohibits us from helping you with any problems with your order.
The same level of dedication from CAS which created the innovative designs for CAS Artwork will extend to our efforts to ensure the piece we give you is valued for many decades to come. Feel free to email us at info@cellag.org and we’ll help in any way to ensure you receive an item that’s both in the right condition (regardless of the shipping distance) and to a level of quality that you’re satisfied with.
I’m interested in the 3-panel layout CAS Artwork seen on the website, but don’t see an option to purchase this arrangement?
The 3-panel (Triptych) layout is our most exclusive option, entitled "Limited Edition - CAS Artwork". For each of our 6 designs, only one piece will ever be made. The costs range from $300K to $3M, with individual dimensions of each panel at 28” x 48”, and total dimensions at 84” x 48” (2.13m x 1.22m).
We work personally with those interested in the Limited Edition CAS Artwork instead of over our website, as the process is a bit more complicated with customization, fulfillment/shipping, and payment. Please email us at info@cellag.org to begin the process of purchasing a Limited Edition CAS Artwork.
