After studying at the University of California, Irvine, Saam recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Saam is now completing his second degree in Material Science at Berkeley with broad research experience including oncology work he conducted at the University of California, San Francisco.
Maintaining his grass-root beginnings in cellular agriculture, he also presides over the CAS Chapter at UC Berkeley, which he found in 2016.
As the Tissue Engineering specialist at CAS, Saam guides all scientific expertise on the topic of tissue engineering related to clean meat specifically, and serves as public counsel on the matter globally.
