Program Overview

The Religion Initiative explores the convergence of religion and cellular agriculture.

There is much reason to believe that if global commercialization is to take place, major world religions need to be analyzed for their relation to cellular agriculture. Notably, major global religions dictate specific dietary habits based upon religious text including abstaining from eating meat from particular animals. How this will intersect with the revolutionary advances of cellular agriculture is not clear and needs an in-depth exploration. To discover this, initiative members seek to engage world religious leaders in extensive dialogue unraveling how particular religions and their principles may translate to the modern advances of cellular agriculture.
